Lights, camera, parking, action!

Imagine it’s the week before Christmas and shopping centres are heaving. Having to queue at the ticket machine is the last thing you want to do. What if your parking payment started automatically? Wouldn’t that be good? RingGo AutoPay is available at selected locations across the UK.

Drive in, park and drive out

1

Drive in

Find that perfect spot in the car park. If you’ve activated RingGo AutoPay, you’ll be notified when your parking session has started.

2

Get on with your day

Enjoy a shopping spree, do your errands or deliver that winning presentation. Your parking is in good hands.

3

Drive out

Simply return to your car and leave when you wish. Your parking session will automatically stop when you drive out.

This is how you activate it

Get the app

Download and register with RingGo. It only takes a few seconds.

2

4

Choose your preferred payment method. Done!

How does it actually work?

Let’s dive into ANPR tech

You might be wondering how car parks know when to start and stop charging for parking. Those with automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) use cameras to register vehicles at the barriers. This sends our system a nudge to stop or start your parking session, but only if you’ve activated this service of course! If you have more questions, check out our support page.
