We are delighted to announce that you can now pay for parking across Torridge with RingGo, the UK’s no.1 parking app. RingGo is a quick and easy way to pay for you parking and unlike the previous service offered across Torridge, you now pay for your parking in advance instead of having to stop your parking.
Torridge District Council recognises RingGo as a safer way to pay for your parking and in recognising this, is removing the convenience fee for using the service, bringing phone payments in line with cash! There is no need to gather around machines or hunt for loose change.
App users across the district will also experience a localised app screen as part of RingGo’s latest customisation feature.
Torridge is another Devon Council making the transition to RingGo as part of a countywide agreement. In Devon alone you can use RingGo in Exeter, Mid Devon, North Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge, Torbay, West Devon and Plymouth.
Councillor Bob Hicks, lead member for the economy at Torridge District Council, said:“It’s great that authorities across Devon are collectively moving to the new RingGo solution which will help when travelling across the county and being able to use it in multiple locations. “Reminders and other enhancements will hopefully also prove beneficial to users.”
