We are excited to announce you can now pay for parking with the UK’s no.1 parking app in Richmondshire, yet another RingGo launch! What’s more, Richmondshire District Council are removing the convenience fee for using the service, effectively bringing phone payments in line with cash.
RingGo is quick and easy to use, offering a safer alternative to pay for parking. So there is no need to touch a frequently used surface or dig for loose change! The service is available nearby in Hartlepool, Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees, therefore many motorists will already be accustomed to the benefits of using RingGo.
Councillor Philip Wicks said, “We are recommending that motorists use RingGo as the quickest, safest way to pay to park in our district,”
“And to encourage users to use it we have set the cost of using RingGo to be equal to paying by cash. We are covering the normal convenience fee.
“We are pleased to be rolling out mobile phone payments across our car parks, using the UK’s leading solution in parking apps. Our main priority must be to safeguard our residents and visitors, offering them safe, simple options as they travel. We very much hope it will be a popular service, as most people nowadays carry and use a mobile phone.”
