Windsor and Maidenhead Council remove the convenience fee for using RingGo

We’re delighted to announce that Windsor and Maidenhead Council have decided to remove the convenience for using RingGo. Motorists can now park TouchFree at no extra cost!

Since offering RingGo in Windsor and Maidenhead last summer, there has been a significant increase in phone parking usage. It is hoped that by removing the convenience fee, even more motorists pay to park by phone. With the Council particularly keen to safeguard residents enjoying local parks over the Easter and Summer holidays.

Peter O’Driscoll Managing Director at RingGo says Bringing the service into line with cash is a great way of encouraging even more motorists to pay to park by phone. We are really pleased that Windsor & Maidenhead Council has taken this step so soon after introducing RingGo.”

“Across the Borough, there are so many beautiful green spaces that residents and visitors will be keen to visit, especially as we exit lockdown and head into the summer months. Last year, many motorists sought an alternative to touching shared buttons or machines, so we are delighted to be offering cashless parking at the same cost as cash, to meet the needs of these motorists.”
