From 7 March 2021, all phone parking at Northern Trains Stations is changing to RingGo, the UK’s no.1 parking app. At the same time, Northern Trains will continue to offer RingGo without a convenience fee for paying to park by phone.

Motorists can already pay to park using the service at a number of Northern Trains Stations, with a further 21 stations where RingGo will be available to use listed below:

• Barrow
• Beverley
• Blackpool North
• Bradford Forster Square
• Bridlington
• Buxton
• Carnforth
• Congleton
• Dronfield
• Glossop
• Goole
• Goostrey
• Grange Over Sands
• Grindleford
• Hathersage
• Northwich
• Sandbach
• South Milford
• Ulverston
• Warrington Central
• Windermere

Northern Trains are recommending RingGo usage as the safest way to pay for parking and is bringing phone payments into line with cash, to encourage greater take up.

Motorists that haven’t yet registered with RingGo, will need to provide a few details to use the new service. This can be done either by downloading the free RingGo app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Or by visiting ringgo.co.uk online and registering via the website. Motorists can register for RingGo at any time in the run up to the transfer, or wait, until the new service is live.

Motorists that don’t own a smartphone, can simply call 0113 809 0070 at the time they wish to park.

The change is being introduced to provide a better service to motorists.
