RingGo expands across Guildford with a reduced convenience fee!

RingGo, the UK’s no.1 phone parking service, has expanded across Guildford Borough Council to cover on-street parking as well as car parks. At the same time, the convenience fee for using RingGo has been reduced to only 10p.

RingGo lets users pay for parking by mobile, rather than touching a shared machine whilst paying to park by cash or card. Guildford Borough Council is recommending motorists use RingGo as the quickest, safest way to pay. To encourage users to do so, the Council has expanded the areas where motorists can use the service and reduced the convenience fee for using RingGo.

If you’re not already registered with RingGo, just download our free app to get started. You can download RingGo from the App Store or Google Play Store and register with a few details. If you’re not a smartphone user, you can register and park by calling the number shown on parking signs or register online by clicking the green “REGISTER NOW” button at the top of this page.

Peter O’Driscoll, Managing Director for RingGo says: “Last year usage of RingGo increased tremendously, as people sought an alternative to touching shared buttons on machines and we very much expect to see patterns repeat themselves this year, as we exit lockdown. Guildford’s action today, in continuing to reduce the differential between cash and cashless payments, will only help this process further.”

There is also a special service for businesses, RingGo Corporate, which companies can use to pay for employee parking. This avoids the need to pay and claim for parking across the local area.
