Wandsworth Council Transfers to RingGo Start:Stop Cashless Parking
RingGo Start:Stop parking – now live in Wandsworth
Cashless parking across the London Borough of Wandsworth has moved to RingGo’s Start:Stop solution. This service means users have to both start and then stop their parking session as they leave.
The benefit of this change is that you will normally pay less for your parking as you are only paying for the time you are parked, rather than guessing the amount in advance.
Parkmobile users that are not already registered with RingGo need to provide their details to the new service.
You can do this either by downloading the RingGo app online from your relevant smartphone store (free to download) or at RingGo.co.uk. This can be done at any time.
If you’re already registered with RingGo, there’s no need to do anything. You can simply start using RingGo instead of Parkmobile.
Rationale
These changes are being introduced to improve the phone parking service to motorists across Wandsworth, by providing access to the most widespread cashless parking solution across the UK. RingGo has over 18 million registered motorists within its database and is offered in more than 450 towns and cities across the UK.
