Park and Pay

RingGo, the UK’s no.1 cashless parking provider have teamed up with Jaguar Land Rover to introduce Park and Pay, an in-car parking payment solution for its Defender models. The RingGo parking application will be accessible from the car’s built in computer and can be used via the car’s infotainment panel.

Incorporating the RingGo app into the Defender’s infotainment system allows you to seamlessly find a space and start your parking session from the comfort of your car. Part of a Defender’s Pivi Pro infotainment system, Park and Pay can map a journey, locate a space, generate a location code and pay for parking via the in-car touchscreen – without using your phone or cash. This is initially being launched with the Defender, but there are plans to expand this service to different vehicle ranges at Jaguar Land Rover.

Following a year of collaboration between RingGo and Jaguar Land Rover – we’ve been able to turn the Defender into a mobility hub, where drivers can control their journey and entertainment from their car.

“This is a first for RingGo and a step towards the future of integrated mobility. The new feature in the Jaguar Land Rover dashboard is yet another demonstration of the rapid evolution of integrated motoring, parking and mobility services, which puts motorists in control and removes any barriers in transitioning from one to another.” – Peter O’Driscoll, UK Managing Director, RingGo

“As part of its new 2020 Defender, the vehicle with a digital brain, drivers will be able to use RingGo directly from the Pivi Pro infotainment screen through the Park and Pay feature. By incorporating RingGo as a key part of the Pivi Pro system, drivers will experience a new kind of modern mobility.” – Gareth Buchanan-Robinson , Commercial Director, RingGo
