The Borough of Broxbourne Council has announced its move to the UK’s leading cashless parking provider, RingGo. The new service, launching on April 1st, will provide motorists with greater parking convenience, enabling them to locate and pay for parking more efficiently.
The launch of RingGo offers Broxbourne motorists the easiest way to park directly from their smartphone. With over 18 million customers and 17,000 locations nationwide, RingGo is the UK’s leading choice for contactless parking.
The Council chose RingGo because of its ability to introduce a new range of digital innovations that will benefit both motorists and the Council. RingGo’s cashless parking service gives drivers the power to book, manage and pay for parking at the press of a button.
The free RingGo app can be downloaded onto smartphones via the App Store or Google Play. Once downloaded, drivers register their details, enter the location code shown on signage and how long they want to park for, and confirm to pay. If they wish to extend their parking session, they can do so remotely from the RingGo app.
Peter O’Driscoll, Managing Director at RingGo said: “The partnership with Broxbourne expands our network, reaffirming our position as the UK’s number 1 cashless parking app. We are committed to providing every customer with a quick and efficient means to park, directly from their smartphone without any fuss.”
